In Thursday's non-league test, the visiting Solon Comets lacrosse squad scored a tight 6-5 victory over the Rocky River Pirates.

The Comets now have a 3-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Bay for a Region 5 test on Saturday, April 1.

In their next game, the Pirates face the Mentor Cardinals (Mentor, OH) in a non-league test, on Tuesday, March 28. Rocky River will attempt to move on its 2-1 season record. The Cardinals come into the test with a 0-3 record after their 15-7 non-league loss to Westlake (Westlake, OH).
