In Thursday's non-league contest, the Freedom Eagles (South Riding, VA) softball team overwhelmed the host Potomac Falls Panthers (Sterling, VA), by a margin of 13-7.

With the triumph, Freedom moves its record to 2-3 on the year. The Eagles host Patriot (Nokesville, VA) to play the Pioneers in a Cedar Run contest on Monday, March 27. The Pioneers come into the contest with a record of 2-2.

In their next game, the Panthers play the Loudoun County Captains (Leesburg, VA) in a non-league contest, on Monday, March 27. Potomac Falls will attempt to move on its 1-4 season record. The Captains come into the contest with a 2-1 record after their 10-0 non-league loss to Woodgrove (Purcellville, VA).
