St. Helens Lions (St. Helens, OR) fans exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the host Banks Braves (Banks, OR), 5-3 in a non-league test.

With the win, St. Helens upgrades its record to 5-2 on the season. The Lions travel to Gladstone (Gladstone, OR) to play the Gladiators in a non-league battle on Tuesday, March 26. The Gladiators enter the battle with a record of 2-2.

The Braves now sport a 4-1 record. They take the field next when they host Warrenton for a 3A-SD1 Special District 1 battle on Tuesday, April 2.
