March 23, 2024: Edmonton, KY 42129 The Webster County Trojans crushed the host Metcalfe County Hornets baseball team by a count of 11-1 in Saturday's non-league bout.
The Trojans now possess a 4-2 record. They take the field next when they host Madisonville-North Hopkins for a non-league bout on Monday, March 25. Webster County will face a Maroons team coming off a 6-0 non-league loss to Calloway County (Murray, KY). The Maroons record now stands at 3-5.
Next, the Hornets face the Grayson County Cougars (Leitchfield, KY) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, March 23. Metcalfe County will attempt to move on its 0-6 season record. The Cougars enter the bout with a 3-0 record after their 6-4 non-league win over Barren County (Glasgow, KY).
