In Saturday's non-league contest, the McClatchy Lions (Sacramento, CA) volleyball squad were winner over the visiting Oakdale Mustangs (Oakdale, CA), by a margin of 2-0.

Next up, the Lions battle the Mesa Verde Mavericks (Citrus Heights, CA) in a non-league contest, on Monday, April 1. McClatchy will attempt to better on its 5-10 season record. The Mavericks go into the contest with a 6-9 record after their 3-0 non-league win over Placer (Auburn, CA).
