Arkansas High School Softball - Farmington bounces Calico Rock
March 23, 2024: Calico Rock, AR 72519 Spectators at Saturday's non-league match between the Farmington Cardinals (Farmington, AR) and the host Calico Rock Pirates (Calico Rock, AR), witnessed Farmington's softball squad prevail over Calico Rock by a count of 18-0.
The Cardinals now sport a 6-2 record. They play next when they travel to Pea Ridge for a 4A Region 1 match on Tuesday, March 26. Farmington will meet a Blackhawks squad coming off a 4-0 non-league loss to Rogers (Rogers, AR). The Blackhawks record now stands at 3-1.
With the loss, Calico Rock moves to 4-3 on the season. The Pirates travel to Izard County (Brockwell, AR) to meet the Cougars in a 2A Region 2 match on Monday, March 25. The Cougars go into the match with a record of 2-3. Izard County lost 6-4 in their recent non-league match against Mayflower (Mayflower, AR)
