Arkansas High School Softball - Calico Rock bounces Magazine
March 23, 2024: Magazine, AR 72943 The Calico Rock Pirates routed the host Magazine Rattlers softball squad by a final score of 10-1 in Saturday's non-league battle.
The Pirates (4-3) will now prepare for their battle against Izard County (Brockwell, AR). The Cougars go into the 2A Region 2 battle with a 2-3 record. In their last battle, Izard County was routed by Mayflower (Mayflower, AR), 6-4, in a non-league battle.
The Rattlers now possess a 6-4 record. They play next when they host Lavaca for a 2A Region 4 battle on Monday, March 25. Magazine will meet a Golden Arrows squad coming off a 10-0 non-league win over Dardanelle (Dardanelle, AR). The Golden Arrows record now stands at 4-2.
