New Mexico High School Softball - Mesilla Valley Christian School bounces McCurdy
March 23, 2024: Las Cruces, NM 88001 Mesilla Valley Christian School SonBlazers (Las Cruces, NM) backers exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they saw their softball squad run past the visiting McCurdy Bobcats (Espanola, NM), 19-2 in a non-league challenge.
The SonBlazers now own a 2-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Hatch Valley for a non-league challenge on Tuesday, March 26. Mesilla Valley Christian School will battle a Bears squad coming off a 19-2 non-league loss to Clovis (Clovis, NM). The Bears record now stands at 1-6.
With the loss, McCurdy falls to 1-4 on the campaign. The Bobcats host Socorro (Socorro, NM) to battle the Warriors in a non-league challenge on Wednesday, March 27. The Warriors enter the challenge with a record of 0-8. Socorro lost 16-1 in their recent non-league challenge against Ruidoso (Ruidoso, NM)
