March 23, 2024: Eugene, OR 97404 North Eugene Highlanders (Eugene, OR) backers exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they saw their softball squad run past the visiting North Salem Vikings (Salem, OR), 18-1 in a non-league challenge.
The Highlanders now own a 3-3 record. They take the field next when they host Cleveland for a non-league challenge on Sunday, March 24. North Eugene will battle a Warriors squad coming off a 14-5 non-league win over Springfield (Springfield, OR). The Warriors record now stands at 2-4.
With the loss, North Salem falls to 0-6 on the campaign. The Vikings host Springfield (Springfield, OR) to battle the Millers in a non-league challenge on Sunday, March 24.
