The crowd at Monday's non-league contest between the Johnson Central Golden Eagles (Paintsville, KY) and the visiting Russell Red Devils (Russell, KY), observed Johnson Central's baseball squad overcome Russell by a final score of 6-3.

With the triumph, Johnson Central moves its record to 5-1 on the season. The Golden Eagles host Greenup County (Greenup, KY) to confront the Musketeers in a non-league contest on Tuesday, March 24. The Musketeers come into the contest with a record of 3-0. Greenup County won 12-1 in their recent non-league contest against Fleming County (Flemingsburg, KY)

The Red Devils now possess a 2-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Martin County for a non-league contest on Saturday, March 28.
