Missouri High School Baseball - Springfield Catholic loses to Willard
March 23, 2026: Springfield, MO 65809 Willard Tigers (Willard, MO) followers left the game pleased Monday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the host Springfield Catholic Fighting Irish (Springfield, MO), 16-7 in a league match.
With the triumph, Willard advances its record to 4-0 on the season. The Tigers host West Plains (West Plains, MO) to battle the Zizzers in a Class 5 District 6 match on Wednesday, March 25. The Zizzers come into the match with a record of 2-1. West Plains won 9-6 in their recent non-league match against Liberty (Mountain View, MO)
The Fighting Irish now have a 1-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Nixa for a non-league match on Tuesday, March 24. Springfield Catholic will battle a Eagles squad coming off a 9-6 non-league win over Highland (Gilbert, AZ). The Eagles record now stands at 3-0.
