In Thursday's non-league game, the visiting Pike Road Patriots baseball team scored a tight 13-6 victory over the Calera Eagles.

The Patriots (4-6) will now prepare for their game against Beauregard (Opelika, AL). The Hornets go into the 5A Area 5 game with a 12-6 record.

The Eagles (4-10) will now prepare for their game against Thompson (Alabaster, AL). The Warriors go into the non-league game with a 9-11 record. In their last game, Thompson was overwhelmed by Hillcrest (Tuscaloosa, AL), 3-2, in a non-league game.
