March 24, 2022: Chapin, SC 29036 Chapin Eagles (Chapin, SC) fans exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the visiting South Aiken Thoroughbreds (Aiken, SC), 13-3 in a non-league test.
With the win, Chapin upgrades its record to 2-2 on the season. The Eagles host Mid-Carolina (Prosperity, SC) to battle the Rebels in a non-league test on Saturday, March 26. The Rebels come into the test with a record of 5-1.
With the defeat, South Aiken falls to 4-4 on the season. The Thoroughbreds host North Augusta (North Augusta, SC) to battle the Yellowjackets in a AAAA Region 5 test on Monday, March 28. The Yellowjackets come into the test with a record of 1-3. North Augusta lost 12-3 in their recent non-league test against James Island (Charleston, SC)
