Fairmont Golden Tornadoes (Fairmont, NC) fans exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the visiting Seventy-First Falcons (Fayetteville, NC), 30-1 in a non-league test.

With the win, Fairmont upgrades its record to 8-1 on the season. The Golden Tornadoes host West Bladen (Bladenboro, NC) to battle the Knights in a Southeastern Athletic 2A test on Friday, March 25. The Knights come into the test with a record of 4-5. West Bladen lost 8-4 in their recent league test against Fairmont (Fairmont, NC)
