March 24, 2022: Prosperity, SC 29127 In Thursday's non-league challenge, the Mid-Carolina Rebels (Prosperity, SC) baseball squad edged the visiting Strom Thurmond Rebels (Johnston, SC), by a final score of 6-5.
With the win, Mid-Carolina upgrades its record to 5-1 on the season. The Rebels travel to Lower Richland (Hopkins, SC) to battle the Diamond Hornets in a AAA Region 4 challenge on Friday, March 25. The Diamond Hornets come into the challenge with a record of 1-2. Lower Richland lost 15-1 in their recent league challenge against Mid-Carolina (Prosperity, SC)
With the defeat, Strom Thurmond falls to 3-5 on the season. The Rebels travel to Brookland-Cayce (Cayce, SC) to battle the Bearcats in a AAA Region 5 challenge on Friday, March 25. The Bearcats come into the challenge with a record of 4-3. Brookland-Cayce won 5-4 in their recent league challenge against Strom Thurmond (Johnston, SC)
