March 24, 2022: Berkeley, CA 94704 The crowd at Thursday's league bout between the Berkeley Yellowjackets (Berkeley, CA) and the visiting Tennyson Lancers (Hayward, CA), saw Berkeley's volleyball squad beat Tennyson by a tally of 3-0.
With the win, Berkeley upgrades its record to 8-1 on the year. The Yellowjackets travel to Piedmont (Piedmont, CA) to play the Highlanders in a West Alameda County bout on Tuesday, March 29. The Highlanders go into the bout with a record of 3-2. Piedmont won 3-0 in their recent league bout against Hayward (Hayward, CA)
The Lancers now own a 0-8 record. They play next when they host Bishop O'Dowd for a West Alameda County bout on Tuesday, March 29. Tennyson will play a Dragons squad coming off a 3-0 non-league win over Archie Williams (San Anselmo, CA). The Dragons record now stands at 11-2.
