Red Mountain Mountain Lions (Mesa, AZ) fans exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the visiting Higley Knights (Gilbert, AZ), 8-0 in a non-league test.

With the win, Red Mountain upgrades its record to 6-0 on the season. The Mountain Lions travel to Corona del Sol (Tempe, AZ) to battle the Aztecs in a non-league test on Friday, March 25. The Aztecs come into the test with a record of 3-2. Corona del Sol won 6-0 in their recent league test against Desert Ridge (Mesa, AZ)
