March 24, 2022: Knoxville, TN 37914 The crowd at Thursday's non-league test between the Austin-East Roadrunners (Knoxville, TN) and the visiting Alcoa Tornadoes (Alcoa, TN), saw Austin-East's soccer squad beat Alcoa by a count of 4-0.
The Roadrunners now hold a 2-1 record. They play next when they travel to Chattanooga School for the Arts & Sciences for a non-league test on Tuesday, March 29. Austin-East will meet a Patriots squad coming off a 3-2 non-league win over Rhea County (Evensville, TN). The Patriots record now stands at 2-1.
With the loss, Alcoa drops to 2-2 on the season. The Tornadoes host Seymour (Seymour, TN) to meet the Eagles in a non-league test on Tuesday, March 29. The Eagles come into the test with a record of 4-0.
