West Virginia High School Softball - Richwood bounces PikeView
March 24, 2022: Princeton, WV 24740 Richwood Lumberjacks (Richwood, WV) backers exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they saw their softball squad run past the host PikeView Panthers (Princeton, WV), 13-4 in a non-league challenge.
The Lumberjacks now own a 2-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to James Monroe for a non-league challenge on Friday, March 25.
With the loss, PikeView falls to 0-3 on the campaign. The Panthers travel to Independence (Coal City, WV) to battle the Patriots in a Coalfield AA challenge on Friday, March 25. The Patriots enter the challenge with a record of 5-1. Independence won 19-4 in their recent league challenge against Nicholas County (Summersville, WV)
