Texas High School Baseball - Redwater loses to Benton
March 24, 2023: Redwater, TX 75573 The Redwater Dragons baseball team (Redwater, TX), was overwhelmed 18-0 in Friday's non-league outing with the visiting Benton Tigers (Benton, LA)
The Tigers now hold a 10-12 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Byrd for a 5A District 1 outing on Saturday, March 25. Benton will confront a Yellow Jackets team coming off a 12-4 league win over Southwood (Shreveport, LA). The Yellow Jackets record now stands at 11-7.
Next, the Dragons confront the De Kalb Bears (De Kalb, TX) in a 3A Region II District 14 outing, on Tuesday, March 28. Redwater will attempt to advance on its 8-8 season record. The Bears go into the outing with a 8-3 record after their 10-0 league loss to Hooks (Hooks, TX).
