Virginia High School Softball - Patrick County knocked off by Franklin County
March 24, 2023: Rocky Mount, VA 24151 In Friday's non-league contest, the Franklin County Eagles (Rocky Mount, VA) softball team overwhelmed the visiting Patrick County Cougars (Stuart, VA), by a margin of 12-2.
With the triumph, Franklin County moves its record to 4-0 on the year. The Eagles host Chestnut Ridge (New Paris, PA) to play the Lions in a non-league contest on Friday, March 24. The Lions come into the contest with a record of 0-0.
In their next game, the Cougars play the Floyd County Buffaloes (Floyd, VA) in a non-league contest, on Monday, March 27. Patrick County will attempt to move on its 3-3 season record.
