March 24, 2023: Cartersville, GA 30120 The Woodland Wildcats soccer team scored 9 points and limited the visiting Hiram Hornets to 1 in the Wildcats league victory on Friday.
Next, the Wildcats face the Cartersville Hurricanes (Cartersville, GA) in a 5A Area 7 contest, on Monday, March 27. Woodland will attempt to better on its 5-3 season record. The Hurricanes enter the contest with a 5-5 record after their 8-0 league loss to Dalton (Dalton, GA).
The Hornets now have a 2-12 record. They take the field next when they travel to North Paulding for a non-league contest on Tuesday, March 28. Hiram will face a Wolfpack team coming off a 1-0 league win over Marietta (Marietta, GA). The Wolfpack record now stands at 6-9.
