Virginia High School Softball - Highland Springs bounces Hopewell
March 24, 2023: Hopewell, VA 23860 Highland Springs Springers (Highland Springs, VA) backers exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they saw their softball squad run past the host Hopewell Blue Devils (Hopewell, VA), 32-20 in a non-league challenge.
The Springers now own a 1-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Deep Run for a non-league challenge on Monday, March 27. Highland Springs will face a Wildcats squad coming off a 15-2 league loss to Glen Allen (Glen Allen, VA). The Wildcats record now stands at 1-3.
With the loss, Hopewell falls to 0-4 on the campaign. The Blue devils host Norcom (Portsmouth, VA) to face the Greyhounds in a non-league challenge on Monday, March 27. The Greyhounds enter the challenge with a record of 0-2. Norcom lost 20-0 in their recent league challenge against Churchland (Portsmouth, VA)
