Florida High School Baseball - Franklin County edges Destin

March 24, 2025: Eastpoint, FL 32322

The Franklin County Seahawks baseball team scored 8 runs and held the visiting Destin Sharks to 6 in the Seahawks non-league win on Monday.

The Seahawks now hold a 11-5 record. They take the field next when they travel to Liberty County for a Rural District 4 test on Tuesday, March 25. Franklin County will play a Bulldogs team coming off a 5-1 non-league win over Marianna (Marianna, FL). The Bulldogs record now stands at 3-7.

With the defeat, Destin drops to 4-8 on the year. The Sharks travel to North Bay Haven Academy (Panama City, FL) to play the Buccaneers in a non-league test on Tuesday, March 25. The Buccaneers go into the test with a record of 7-7. North Bay Haven Academy won 15-8 in their recent non-league test against Hooper Academy (Hope Hull, AL)
