The crowd at Monday's non-league battle between the Rio Americano Raiders (Sacramento, CA) and the host Franklin Yellowjackets (Stockton, CA), saw Rio Americano's baseball team gain a win over Franklin by a tally of 9-2.

The Raiders (8-7) will now prepare for their battle against Woodland Christian (Woodland, CA). The Cardinals enter the non-league battle with a 11-1 record. In their last battle, Woodland Christian held off Rio Vista (Rio Vista, CA), 19-8, in a league battle.

Next, the Yellowjackets face the Stagg Delta Kings (Stockton, CA) in a San Joaquin Athletic Association battle, on Wednesday, March 26. Franklin will attempt to upgrade on its 6-7 season record. The Delta Kings enter the battle with a 9-3 record after their 28-0 league win over Chavez (Stockton, CA).
