Mississippi High School Baseball - Ingomar defeats Smithville
March 24, 2025: New Albany, MS 38652 The Ingomar Falcons (New Albany, MS) baseball trounced the visiting Smithville Seminoles (Smithville, MS), 14-7 in Monday's non-league challenge.
The Falcons now own a 13-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Water Valley for a 2A Region 2 challenge on Tuesday, March 25. Ingomar will clash with a Blue Devils team coming off a 19-18 non-league win over New Albany (New Albany, MS). The Blue Devils record now stands at 8-5.
With the defeat, Smithville drops to 0-15 on the year. The Seminoles host Houlka (Houlka, MS) to clash with the Wildcats in a 1A Region 4 challenge on Tuesday, March 25. The Wildcats go into the challenge with a record of 4-9. Houlka lost 19-2 in their recent league challenge against West Union (Myrtle, MS)
