The Covenant Christian Cougars overwhelmed the host O'Connell Buccaneers softball squad by a count of 25-4 in Tuesday's league challenge.

Next, the Cougars meet the Alpha Omega Academy Lions (Huntsville, TX) in a TAPPS Division IV District 6 challenge, on Friday, March 27. Covenant Christian will attempt to upgrade on its 2-1 season record. The Lions go into the challenge with a 5-3 record after their 18-3 non-league loss to BVCHEA HomeSchool (Bryan, TX).

With the loss, O'Connell moves to 4-2 on the season. The Buccaneers travel to Alpha Omega Academy (Huntsville, TX) to encounter the Lions in a TAPPS Division IV District 6 battle on Thursday, April 2. The Lions come into the battle with a record of 5-3.
