In Tuesday's non-league match, the host Napoleon Wildcats softball team scored a tight 7-6 win over the Defiance Bulldogs.

The Wildcats (1-0) will now prepare for their match against Archbold (Archbold, OH). The Blue Streaks come into the non-league match with a 3-0 record. In their last match, Archbold nipped Maumee (Maumee, OH), 7-3, in a non-league match.

In their next game, the Bulldogs confront the Elmwood Royals (Bloomdale, OH) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, March 28. Defiance will attempt to better on its 0-1 season record.
