In Tuesday's non-league match, the visiting Nicholas County Bluejackets softball team scored a tight 13-6 win over the Model Patriots.

The Bluejackets (2-1) will now prepare for their match against Robertson County (Mt. Olivet, KY). The Black Devils come into the District 38 match with a 1-2 record. In their last match, Robertson County edged Augusta (Augusta, KY), 17-2, in a non-league game.

The Patriots now own a 0-3 record. They play next when they travel to Williamsburg for a non-league game on Thursday, March 26. Model will play a Yellow Jackets squad coming off a 7-4 non-league loss to Bell County (Pineville, KY). The Yellow Jackets record now stands at 0-3.
