March 25, 2022: Corryton, TN 37721 Plainfield Central Wildcats (Plainfield, IL) fans exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the host Gibbs Eagles (Corryton, TN), 9-0 in a non-league test.
With the win, Plainfield Central upgrades its record to 4-0 on the season. The Wildcats travel to Halls (Knoxville, TN) to battle the Red Devils in a non-league test on Friday, March 25. The Red Devils come into the test with a record of 0-2. Halls lost 15-9 in their recent non-league test against Heritage (Maryville, TN)
With the defeat, Gibbs falls to 2-4 on the season. The Eagles host Carter (Strawberry Plains, TN) to battle the Green Hornets in a 3A District 3 test on Monday, March 28. The Green Hornets come into the test with a record of 7-2. Carter won 20-8 in their recent non-league test against Claiborne (New Tazewell, TN)
