March 25, 2022: Claremore, OK 74019 Verdigris Cardinals (Claremore, OK) fans were thrilled Friday as they observed their soccer team prevail over the visiting Enid Plainsmen (Enid, OK), 5-1 in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Cardinals confront the Ponca City Wildcats (Ponca City, OK) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, March 25. Verdigris will attempt to better on its 3-1 season record. The Wildcats enter the challenge with a 0-1 record after their 3-0 non-league loss to Holland Hall (Tulsa, OK).
The Plainsmen now have a 0-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Page for a 6A District 4 challenge on Friday, April 1. Enid will confront a Sandites team coming off a 1-0 non-league win over Ponca City (Ponca City, OK). The Sandites record now stands at 7-2.
