Mountain Ridge Sentinels (Herriman, UT) fans were thrilled Friday as they observed their soccer team hold off the visiting Westlake Thunder (Saratoga Springs, UT), 2-1 in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Sentinels face the Riverton Silverwolves (Riverton, UT) in a 6A Region 3 challenge, on Wednesday, March 30. Mountain Ridge will attempt to better on its 3-2 season record.

The Thunder now have a 4-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Pleasant Grove for a 6A Region 4 challenge on Wednesday, March 30.
