March 25, 2022: Thomaston, GA 30286 The Upson-Lee Knights soccer team (Thomaston, GA), was overwhelmed 9-0 in Friday's league outing with the visiting Pike County Pirates (Zebulon, GA)
With the win, Pike County advances its record to 12-0 on the campaign. The Pirates host Jackson (Jackson, GA) to play the Red Devils in a AAA Region 2 outing on Tuesday, March 29. The Red Devils go into the outing with a record of 9-5. Jackson lost 1-0 in their recent league outing against Mary Persons (Forsyth, GA)
In their next game, the Knights play the Crisp County Cougars (Cordele, GA) in a AAA Region 2 outing, on Monday, March 28. Upson-Lee will attempt to advance on its 7-6 season record. The Cougars go into the outing with a 3-9 record after their 4-1 league loss to Peach County (Fort Valley, GA).
