Pennsylvania High School Softball - Cowanesque Valley bounces Athens
March 25, 2022: Athens, PA 18810 Cowanesque Valley Indians (Westfield, PA) backers exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they saw their softball squad run past the host Athens Wildcats (Athens, PA), 12-2 in a non-league challenge.
The Indians now own a 1-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Troy for a non-league challenge on Thursday, March 31. Cowanesque Valley will battle a Trojans squad coming off a 14-10 non-league loss to Northeast Bradford (Rome, PA). The Trojans record now stands at 0-1.
With the loss, Athens falls to 0-1 on the campaign. The Wildcats host Canton (Canton, PA) to battle the Warriors in a non-league challenge on Thursday, March 31. The Warriors enter the challenge with a record of 0-0.
