Tennessee High School Softball - Columbia Academy nudges Waverly Central
March 25, 2022: Columbia, TN 38401 Columbia Academy Bulldogs (Columbia, TN) fans exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Waverly Central Tigers (Waverly, TN), 1-0 in a non-league challenge.
The Bulldogs now sport a 5-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Hartselle for a non-league challenge on Monday, March 28. Columbia Academy will face a Tigers squad coming off a 12-0 league win over Decatur (Decatur, AL). The Tigers record now stands at 19-2.
With the loss, Waverly Central falls to 5-2 on the campaign. The Tigers travel to Hollow Rock-Bruceton Central (Bruceton, TN) to face the Tigers in a non-league challenge on Friday, March 25. The Tigers enter the challenge with a record of 6-1. Hollow Rock-Bruceton Central won 8-2 in their recent non-league challenge against Bradford (Bradford, TN)
