North Carolina High School Softball - High Point Christian Academy nudges Montour

High Point Christian Academy Cougars (High Point, NC) backers exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Montour Spartans (McKees Rocks, PA), 9-8 in a non-league challenge.

The Cougars now own a 8-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to West Stokes for a non-league contest on Monday, March 28. High Point Christian Academy will play a Wildcats team coming off a 15-0 league win over T.W. Andrews (High Point, NC). The Wildcats record now stands at 6-2.

In their next game, the Spartans play the Davie War Eagles (Mocksville, NC) in a non-league contest, on Saturday, March 26. Montour will attempt to upgrade on its 1-1 season record. The War Eagles enter the challenge with a 7-4 record after their 19-0 league win over Parkland (Winston-Salem, NC).
