The crowd at Friday's non-league match between the Mountain Ridge Sentinels (Herriman, UT) and the visiting Spanish Fork Dons (Spanish Fork, UT), saw Mountain Ridge's softball squad nip Spanish Fork by a count of 4-3.

The Sentinels now sport a 9-2 record. They take the field next when they host Herriman for a 6A Region 3 match on Tuesday, March 29.

With the loss, Spanish Fork falls to 4-3 on the campaign. The Dons host Timpanogos (Orem, UT) to face the Timberwolves in a non-league match on Monday, March 28. The Timberwolves enter the match with a record of 9-1. Timpanogos lost 15-1 in their recent non-league match against Springville (Springville, UT)
