March 25, 2022: Sevierville, TN 37862 Spectators at Friday's non-league match between the Oak Ridge Wildcats (Oak Ridge, TN) and the host Sevier County Smoky Bears (Sevierville, TN), witnessed Oak Ridge's softball squad prevail over Sevier County by a count of 15-0.
The Wildcats now sport a 1-6 record. They play next when they host Fulton for a non-league match on Monday, March 28. Oak Ridge will face a Falcons squad coming off a 10-0 league win over Lenoir City (Lenoir City, TN). The Falcons record now stands at 6-1.
With the loss, Sevier County moves to 2-4 on the season. The Smoky bears host Smith County (Carthage, TN) to face the Owls in a non-league match on Saturday, March 26. The Owls go into the match with a record of 0-2. Smith County lost 14-4 in their recent league match against Watertown (Watertown, TN)
