Head-Royce Jayhawks (Oakland, CA) fans exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they observed their baseball squad hold off the visiting University Red Devils (San Francisco, CA), 3-2 in a non-league test.

With the win, Head-Royce upgrades its record to 5-1 on the season. The Jayhawks host Lick-Wilmerding (San Francisco, CA) to battle the Tigers in a non-league test on Friday, March 31. The Tigers come into the test with a record of 2-5.

With the defeat, University falls to 5-4 on the season. The Red devils travel to Urban (San Francisco, CA) to battle the Blues in a Bay Counties - West test on Tuesday, March 28. The Blues come into the test with a record of 0-4. Urban lost 10-0 in their recent league test against Lick-Wilmerding (San Francisco, CA)
