California High School Volleyball - Liberty edged by Mt. Diablo
March 25, 2023: Concord, CA 94520 The Mt. Diablo Red Devils held off the visiting Liberty Lions volleyball team by a score of 2-1 in Saturday's non-league test.
The Red Devils now have a 4-6 record. They put it on the line next when they host Benicia for a test on Tuesday, March 28. Mt. Diablo will confront a Panthers team coming off a 2-0 league win over Miramonte (Orinda, CA). The Panthers record now stands at 4-4.
The Lions (0-5) will now prepare for their test against Pittsburg (Pittsburg, CA). The Pirates enter the test with a 6-5 record. In their last test, Pittsburg was nudged by El Cerrito (El Cerrito, CA), 2-0, in a non-league test.
