Illinois High School Volleyball - St. Charles East can't hold off Chicago Mt. Carmel
March 25, 2023: St. Charles, IL 60174 In Saturday's non-league battle, the visiting Chicago Mt. Carmel Caravan volleyball team scored a tight 2-1 triumph over the St. Charles East Fighting Saints.
The Caravan (5-2) will now prepare for their battle against Elk Grove (Elk Grove Village, IL). The Grenadiers come into the non-league battle with a 0-4 record. In their last battle, Elk Grove was edged by Marist (Chicago, IL), 2-0, in a non-league battle.
Next, the Fighting Saints clash with the Providence Catholic Celtics (New Lenox, IL) in a non-league battle, on Saturday, March 25. St. Charles East will attempt to advance on its 0-5 season record. The Celtics come into the battle with a 0-4 record after their 2-0 non-league loss to Plainfield East (Plainfield, IL).
