The Mary G. Montgomery Vikings got by the visiting Austin Black Bears softball squad by a final score of 7-6 in Saturday's non-league battle.

The Vikings (11-10) will now prepare for their battle against East Central (Moss Point, MS). The Hornets go into the non-league battle with a 11-7 record.
