In Saturday's non-league contest, the Barstow Aztecs (Barstow, CA) softball team overwhelmed the host Taft Toreadors (Woodland Hills, CA), by a margin of 10-0.

With the triumph, Barstow moves its record to 3-6 on the year. The Aztecs travel to Granite Hills (Apple Valley, CA) to play the Cougars in a Desert Sky contest on Wednesday, March 29. The Cougars come into the contest with a record of 6-4. Granite Hills lost 8-3 in their recent non-league contest against Apple Valley (Apple Valley, CA)

In their next game, the Toreadors play the Immaculate Heart Pandas (Los Angeles, CA) in a non-league contest, on Saturday, March 25. Taft will attempt to move on its 3-6 season record. The Pandas come into the contest with a 2-3 record after their 8-7 non-league loss to Rio Hondo Prep (Arcadia, CA).
