March 25, 2024: Alexandria, VA 22312 Meridian Mustangs (Falls Church, VA) fans exited the stadium thrilled Monday as they observed their baseball squad hold off the host Thomas Jefferson Science & Technology Colonials (Alexandria, VA), 5-4 in a non-league test.
With the win, Meridian upgrades its record to 4-2 on the season. The Mustangs travel to Brentsville District (Nokesville, VA) to battle the Tigers in a Northwestern test on Monday, April 8. The Tigers come into the test with a record of 5-2. Brentsville District lost 2-0 in their recent non-league test against Lightridge (Aldie, VA)
With the defeat, Thomas Jefferson Science & Technology moves to 1-2 on the year. The Colonials host Annandale (Annandale, VA) to clash with the Atoms in a National game on Thursday, April 25. The Atoms go into the game with a record of 3-4.
