New York High School Lacrosse - Patchogue-Medford overwhelms Riverhead
March 25, 2024: Riverhead, NY 11901 The Patchogue-Medford Raiders (Medford, NY) lacrosse triumphed over the host Riverhead Blue Waves (Riverhead, NY), 12-7 in Monday's league outing.
With the win, Patchogue-Medford upgrades its record to 1-0 on the season. The Raiders host Longwood (Middle Island, NY) to battle the Lions in a Section 11 I outing on Wednesday, March 27. The Lions go into the outing with a record of 0-1. Longwood lost 10-5 in their recent league challenge against Ward Melville (East Setauket, NY)
The Blue Waves (0-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Huntington (Huntington, NY). The Blue Devils enter the non-league challenge with a 0-1 record. In their last challenge, Huntington was overwhelmed by Northport (Northport, NY), 11-9, in a non-league challenge.
