March 25, 2024: Virginia Beach, VA 23454 The crowd at Monday's non-league test between the Ocean Lakes Dolphins (Virginia Beach, VA) and the visiting Deep Creek Hornets (Chesapeake, VA), saw Ocean Lakes's soccer squad triumph over Deep Creek by a margin of 7-1.
The Dolphins now sport a 4-1 record. They play next when they travel to Landstown for a Beach test on Thursday, March 28. Ocean Lakes will meet a Eagles squad coming off a 5-3 non-league win over Grassfield (Chesapeake, VA). The Eagles record now stands at 3-0.
With the loss, Deep Creek drops to 1-3 on the season. The Hornets host Heritage (Newport News, VA) to meet the Hurricanes in a non-league test on Wednesday, March 27. The Hurricanes come into the test with a record of 0-4. Heritage lost 6-1 in their recent league test against Phoebus (Hampton, VA)
