Louisiana High School Baseball - Calvin wallops Mansfield
March 25, 2025: Calvin, LA 71410 The Calvin Cougars baseball team scored 21 runs and held the visiting Mansfield Wolverines to 0 in the Cougars non-league win on Tuesday.
The Cougars now hold a 6-6 record. They take the field next when they travel to Georgetown for a non-league test on Friday, March 28. Calvin will play a Bulldogs team coming off a 16-4 non-league win over Rayville (Rayville, LA). The Bulldogs record now stands at 3-4.
With the defeat, Mansfield drops to 0-12 on the year. The Wolverines travel to Lakeside (Sibley, LA) to play the Warriors in a 2A District 3 test on Thursday, March 27. The Warriors go into the test with a record of 11-13. Lakeside won 6-5 in their recent league test against D'Arbonne Woods (Farmerville, LA)
