In Tuesday's non-league game, the visiting Crystal Lake South Gators baseball team scored a close 5-2 victory over the Murphysboro Red Devils.

The Gators (2-1) will now prepare for their game against Warren Township (Gurnee, IL). The Blue Devils enter the non-league game with a 4-1 record. In their last game, Warren Township by Cary-Grove (Cary, IL), 10-0, in a non-league game.

Next, the Red Devils face the Steeleville Warriors (Steeleville, IL) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, March 27. Murphysboro will attempt to better on its 4-4 season record.
