In Tuesday's non-league game, the host Wharton Wildcats baseball team scored a close 3-2 win over the Freedom Patriots.

The Wildcats (14-3) will now prepare for their game against Chamberlain (Tampa, FL). The Storm go into the non-league game with a 1-15 record. In their last game, Chamberlain was tipped by Hillsborough (Tampa, FL), 3-1, in a non-league game.
