In Tuesday's league game, the host Whitman Vikings baseball team scored a nice 12-1 victory over the Gaithersburg Trojans.

The Vikings (1-1) will now prepare for their game against Churchill (Potomac, MD). The Bulldogs enter the Montgomery County 4A - West game with a 1-1 record. In their last game, Churchill was overwhelmed by Sherwood (Sandy Spring, MD), 2-0, in a non-league game.

Next, the Trojans face the Quince Orchard Cougars (Gaithersburg, MD) in a Montgomery County 4A - West game, on Thursday, March 27. Gaithersburg will attempt to improve on its 1-1 season record.
